A guy sitting in a bar is really looking nervous. Every time the door opens he jumps. Every time there is a noise he cringes.

The bartender after watching this for an hour finally goes over and asks, "What's the matter with you?"

"Well I received a letter today that said if I didn't stop fooling around with his wife he was gonna shoot me."

For heaven's sake, Why don't you just stop fooling around with his wife?"

Efficiency expert, Banta, concluded his lecture with a note of caution. "You need to be careful about trying these techniques at home. "
"Why?" asked somebody from the audience.
"I watched my wife's routine at breakfast for years," Banta explained. "She made lots of trips between the refrigerator, stove, table and cabinets, often carrying a single item at a time.
One day I told her, 'Why don't you try carrying several things at once?'"
"Did it save time?" the guy in the audience asked.
"Actually, yes," replied Banta, "It used to take her 20 minutes to make breakfast. Now I do it in seven."

A mental hospital was critically overcrowded. The doctor decides to get all the patients seated in one large room to conduct a test to see how many they discharge that day.

At the front of the room the Doctors took some chalk and drew a full size door on a Blackboard and offered an ice cream to any patient who could open the door.

Banta and his fiance, Preeto, arrived at town hall seconds before closing time, and caught a judge just as he was about to leave, and asked him to marry them. He asked if they had a license and, when they didn't, sent them off to get one.
They caught the town clerk just as he was locking up, and got the license from him. When they got back to the judge, he pointed out that they had filled the names in backwards -- his where hers belonged and vice versa.
